I’m really excited to share the story of my journey over the past year and a half, where I’ve been able to finally pursue my teenage dream of becoming a florist. As a teenager, I always imagined a life surrounded by beautiful flowers, but life took me down a different path into the world of office work. Now, I’m happy to say that I’m living out that dream through the art of piping buttercream flowers.
It all started with me just playing around with flower piping. I wasn’t sure of my skills at first, but with some inspiration from YouTube tutorials, I quickly got the hang of it. To my surprise, my little hobby turned into a successful little business, and I’m so grateful for the support of my family, friends, and loyal customers who have cheered me on every step of the way.
When I heard about the Buttercream Bloom Awards, I was a bit hesitant at first. But with some encouragement from my loved ones, I decided to go for it. I reached out on social media, asked for votes and shares anywhere I could! Even asked in my local shops! I was overwhelmed by the response.
I’m absolutely thrilled to share that I’ve won platinum and gold awards! It still feels like a dream, and I have to pinch myself sometimes to believe it’s real. This experience has boosted my confidence and I’m proud to say that I now have an award-winning business!
For anyone thinking about entering a The Buttercream Bloom awards, I say go for it! You never know what amazing opportunities might come your way. The Buttercream Bloom Awards have been a fantastic platform for me to showcase my work and connect with other creatives. A big thank you to Jane for creating such a wonderful space for us.
