Hi everyone,
I hope you are well. Firstly I want to start by thanking you all for your kind messages about the passing of our gorgeous dog Nelly. It has devastated our family, especially my daughter Georgia. It was such a shock, she was only 8. So once again thank you for all of your kind words, it means a lot.
Secondly we are now in the build up the the AMAZING Cake International 2022.
This year I am running three 2.5 hour workshops on Saturday 5th November.
Buttercream Flower Virgins (Beginners) with Jane Taylor
Saturday 5th November 2022 9.00 – 11.30hrs (2.5 hours)
Jane Taylor Founder of Taylor Made Cakes of Tenterden™️ and Taylor Made Cake Courses™ is joining Cake International with half day workshops.
Jane will be demonstrating The Taylor Made Way, how to pipe buttercream flowers with true botanical realism in a live setting.
In this session Jane will be starting right at the beginning and progressing through colours, tips and tricks and you will learn the following flowers – Large Petal Rose, Dahlia, Mini Roses with Buds and Peony.

This session is for those at an intermediate level and you will learn the following flowers – Pumpkin, Pine Cone, Advanced Poinsettia and Closed Protea

Signature Buttercream Flower with Jane Taylor
Saturday 5th November 2022 4.00 – 6.30hrs (2.5 hours)
Jane Taylor Founder of Taylor Made Cakes of Tenterden™️ and Taylor Made Cake Courses™ is joining Cake International with half day workshops.
Jane will be demonstrating The Taylor Made Way, how to pipe buttercream flowers with true botanical realism in a live setting.
In this session Jane will be starting right at the beginning and progressing through colours, tips and tricks and you will learn the following flowers – Delicate petal mini roses, Taylor Made Rose, Semi open hand piped tulips and Hyacinth.

The reason I have broken a full day course down into three workshops is so that you can spend some time actually looking round the event too. Although a few of you have asked if you can do more than one workshop, of course you can!
I am also at the event on Friday 4th all day, having a good look around and of course hoping to see as many of you as possible. I am also really pleased that my gorgeous cake bestie Angela Henderson (and her lovely hubby Allan) will be there to all weekend with their fantastic colour range from Sugarin, I will be demoing on their stand on Friday time TBC.
Plus the wonderful Southeast Sundries will also be there, run by my other bestie Leigh & her mum Chris. They will be bringing beautiful hatboxes, cello, tissue and a GORGEOUS selection of dried flowers. I am hoping to also be at their stand on Friday time TBC.
AND the lovely Olbaa are also there too with their amazing cakeboxes. If you haven’t met Haff & Rachel Then you really should! Go and say hi! (Their boxes are a total game changer)

Frances from Rockpool/Rockcake have been discussing a lot from last year…and can I just say in advance PLEASE come over and say hi! One lady shouted ‘hi Jane’ then ran off into a lift lol. The best bit for me is meeting you all in person, my business is now 90% online so it really is amazing to physically meet you all! Do tell me your business name, now my HRT is working and the brain fog has lifted lol, I am really good with remembering names…but remember most of you message me from business accounts! That doesn’t tell me your actual name! And please don’t run away haha! I had coffee with some amazing people last year. I literally cannot wait!
I am there on the Sunday but only briefly as I need to get back to my Taylors. It is a long drive back to Kent.
